cocunut chutney

Ingredients:

  • Fresh cocunut grated or chopped – 1cup
  • Fried gram/roasted channa dal-1cup
  • green chillies-2 to 3
  • salt as needed

Seasoning:

  • Oil-1/2tbsp
  • Mustard-1/2tsp
  • Urad dal-1/2tsp
  • Red chilli-1
  • curry leaves_1 spring

Method:

  • Blend together coconut, fried gram,chilli, salt in a blender.
  • Add water just enough to blend and make a thick chutney.
  • Heat oil in a pan add dal mustard,and red chilli.
  • when the dal turns golden add curry leaves,add it to the chutney.
  • stir and serve with idly,dosa.
