Ingredients:
- Fresh cocunut grated or chopped – 1cup
- Fried gram/roasted channa dal-1cup
- green chillies-2 to 3
- salt as needed
Seasoning:
- Oil-1/2tbsp
- Mustard-1/2tsp
- Urad dal-1/2tsp
- Red chilli-1
- curry leaves_1 spring
Method:
- Blend together coconut, fried gram,chilli, salt in a blender.
- Add water just enough to blend and make a thick chutney.
- Heat oil in a pan add dal mustard,and red chilli.
- when the dal turns golden add curry leaves,add it to the chutney.
- stir and serve with idly,dosa.
